COOKING TIME : 10 minutes
INGREDIENTS :
- Boiled mashed potatoes - 2 cups
- Sooji / semolina - 1 cup
- Boiled corn - 1 cup
- Cheese - 1/2 cup
- Coriander leaves - 1 cup chopped
- Salt as per taste
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Chat masala - 1 tsp
- Red chili flakes - 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Garam masala - 1 tsp
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoon
PROCEDURE :
- In a mixing bowl add potatoes, sooji, red chili flakes and half of salt. Mix well everything
- Gradually add water and make soft ball like dough. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil on medium flame in a pan. Add corn and spices and fry for 10 - 15 seconds. Turn off the flame.
- Add chat masala and coriander leaves. Mix well. Transfer to a plate and let it cool completely.
- Add cheese and mix well.
- Take a ball size dough and flatted to a disc. Fill with 1 tablespoon of corn mixture and close it. Seal from all sides and flatten a bit.
- Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a pan. Shallow fry patties from both sides till light brown and crispy. Transfer to a plate.
- Corn Potato Patties are ready to serve.
