Soya Capsicum Rice Recipe | Veg Fried Rice


A perfect recipe for all those lazy weekend. Goes best with any kind of raita and/or papad.

PREPARATION TIME : 20 minutes 

COOKING TIME : 10 minutes


INGREDIENTS :

  • Cooked rice - 2 cups
  • Capsicum -  1 cup cubed
  • Red bell pepper -  1 cup sliced
  • Onion - 1 cup sliced
  • Soya nuggets -  1 cup
  • Salt as per taste
  • Pav Bhaji Masala - 1 tablespoon 
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon 
  • Red Chili Powder - 1 tablespoon 
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoon 


PROCEDURE : 

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan on low medium heat. 
  2. Add onion and fry till translucent.
  3. Add ginger garlic paste and fry till raw smell goes off.
  4. Add bell peppers and fry little.
  5. Add tomatoes and fry till they turn soft.
  6. Add pav bhaji masala and red chili powder.
  7. Add soya nuggets and mix.
  8. Add salt and mix well.
  9. Add cooked rice and mix everything uniformly.


TIPS :

  1. Rice should not be hot while adding to veggies else it will turn mushy.
  2. Keep the veggies crunchy as it adds more flavor.
