A crispy and crunchy fried fish recipe. Very soft and moist from inside and crispy from outside. Flavor enhances when accompanied with chutney, onion and lemon.

PREPARATION TIME : 10 minutes + 2 hrs marination
COOKING TIME : 15 minutes
INGREDIENTS :
- Fish fillet (any choice) -1.5 kgs / 3 lbs
- Salt as per taste
- Turmeric powder - 1 tbsp
- Red chili powder - 1.5 tbsp
- Coriander powder - 2 tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
- Lime juice - 2 tbsp
- Mustard oil - 3 tbsp
PROCEDURE :
- Clean fish fillet by rubbing with salt.
- Add salt, spices and lime juice. Mix and coat fish fillets uniformly with spices. Cover and let rest for 2 hours.
- After 2 hours heat mustard oil on medium heat in a pan.
- Put fish fillet one by one. Flip immediately. Fry from one side. Flip and fry from other side till crispy on both sides.
- Transfer to a plated lined with tissue paper.
TIPS :
- Adding lime juice will keep fish moist from inside when fried.
- Flip fillet immediately when added to pan. This will prevent fish from sticking in pan.
- Tissue paper absorbs extra oil.
