Sweet Potato Kababs Recipe


A very delectable recipe of sweet potato. Flavor blasting and nutrition rich variation of this kabab is a must go for every snacks or party platters.


SERVING : 4

PREPARATION TIME : 5 minutes + 10 minutes for boiling sweet potatoes 

COOKING TIME : 10 minutes


INGREDIENTS :

  • Sweet Potato - 3 large boiled and peeled
  • All purpose flour - 1/3 cup
  • Rice flour - 1/4 cup
  • Salt as per taste
  • Red chili flakes - 1 tablespoon 
  • Black pepper powder - 1 tablespoon 
  • Oregano - 1 tablespoon 
  • Mixed herbs - 1 tablespoon 
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon 


PROCEDURE

  1. In a mixing bowl mash all the sweet potatoes.
  2. Add all the remaining ingredients.
  3. Mix and make a uniform mixture.
  4. Heat 1 tsp olive oil in a non stick pan.
  5. Take a small amount of mixture and give it a kabab shape with hands.
  6. Carefully drop then in pan. Do not overcrowd.
  7. Fry from all sides on medium flame.
  8. Sweet Potato Kababs are ready to serve.


TIPS :

  1. Breadcrumbs can also be added to mixture.
  2. Spice level can be adjusted as per taste.
  3. Mixture should be stiff enough to give a kabab shape
